3D Interior Designer / Architectural Visualisation
Contract Project → Potential Full-Time Position | Melbourne

We are an emerging property and building materials business specialising in complete home and kitchen finish packages, designed to make high-quality, beautifully coordinated interiors more accessible to Australian builders and developers.

We are currently looking for a talented **3D interior designer / architectural visualiser** to work with us on an initial contract project, with the potential for this position to develop into a **full-time, in-person role** as the business grows.

The Initial Project

We are developing a range of complete interior finish packages for our clients — including kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, hardware, lighting and other home finishes.

We need someone who can work closely with us **in person** to bring these packages to life through high-quality 3D renders.

The key requirement is that we will be creating **multiple design packages within the exact same house and floorplan**.

For example:

* Package 01 — warm, timeless / neutral
* Package 02 — contemporary
* Package 03 — modern coastal
* Package 04 — darker / more sophisticated
* Package 05 — etc.

The **architecture, floorplan, camera angles and spatial layout will remain consistent**, while the finishes, cabinetry, colours, materials, fixtures, furniture and styling change between packages.

This allows customers to visually compare different finish packages while seeing exactly how each would look within the same home.

What You'll Be Doing

For the initial contract project, you will:

* Work directly with us in person to understand our design direction
* Build or work from existing architectural plans and create realistic 3D interiors
* Produce high-quality photorealistic renders
* Develop multiple interior styles using the same base house/layout
* Apply specified materials, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, lighting and furniture
* Make design adjustments quickly based on feedback
* Create polished imagery suitable for **our website, sales presentations, builder pitches and marketing**
* Help establish a consistent visual style and rendering system that can be reused across future projects

The Long-Term Opportunity

If the initial project is a good fit, we are looking for this role to develop into a **full-time, in-person position**.

As we begin receiving orders from builders and developers, you will receive their architectural floorplans and be responsible for turning our existing finish packages into **custom visualisations for each individual project**.

The design packages themselves will remain consistent, but the renders will need to adapt to each builder's specific floorplan, dimensions and home design.

This means you would become an important part of the business — working alongside the design and development team to translate our product packages into compelling visualisations that builders and their clients can immediately understand.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

* Strong skills in **3D modelling and interior visualisation**
* Experience producing **high-quality architectural/interior renders**
* A strong eye for interiors, materials, colour and proportion
* The ability to accurately recreate a design from plans, references and direction
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work collaboratively and take direction while also contributing your own design ideas
* A strong understanding of realistic materials, lighting and textures
* The ability to work efficiently and make revisions quickly
* A portfolio demonstrating **residential interiors and/or architectural visualisation**

Experience with programs such as **3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Blender, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Corona or similar** is welcome. We are more interested in the quality of your work and your ability to execute a design than the specific software you use.

The Person

We're looking for someone who is **creative, commercially minded and highly visual**.

You should enjoy interiors and architecture, have a strong design eye, and be comfortable sitting down with us and turning an idea or moodboard into a finished visual.

This is a collaborative role. We want someone who can sit beside us, look at a material, colour or reference and understand **exactly what we're trying to achieve**, then translate that into a beautiful, realistic render.

Initial Engagement

The first stage will be a **paid contract project** to create our initial suite of renders and establish the design system for our packages.

There is **strong potential for ongoing work and transition into a full-time, in-person position** for the right person as the business moves into its next stage.
