Sales Dashboard with Custom Filters

I have a Google Sheets file that already houses raw sales data; now I need it transformed into a clean, interactive dashboard. The core focus is visualising total sales through clear bar charts, with private, user-friendly filters so different team members can slice the numbers without altering the underlying sheet.

Here’s what matters most to me:

• A single, visually appealing bar chart that updates automatically when new sales rows are added.
• Filter controls (date range, salesperson, product, region) that sit above or beside the chart yet keep the raw data sheet locked down. Each user should see only the data they choose, without touching other users’ views.
• Lightweight, formula-driven solutions—QUERY, FILTER, ARRAYFORMULA, IMPORTRANGE, or Google Apps Script—so the file remains fast even as the data grows.

Nice-to-have additions such as a line graph trend or a quick pie-slice breakdown are welcome if you can include them without cluttering the layout.

Deliverables:
1. A new “Dashboard” tab with the bar chart and filter interface.
2. Any helper sheets or Apps Script packaged inside the same file, fully commented.
3. A brief hand-off note (or Loom walkthrough) so my non-technical colleagues can maintain and extend the dashboard.

Once everything is wired up, I’ll run a week of test data to confirm the chart, filters, and protection rules behave exactly as intended before signing off.
