I need a polished WordPress site built from the ground up to promote my business to a broad, general-public audience. The project covers both the technical build and the creative look-and-feel, so strong graphic design skills are just as important as WordPress expertise.
Scope of work
• Design and develop a 10-page WordPress website. Core pages will include the usual Home, About and Contact sections, with the remaining pages structured around our services and any supporting content we identify together.
• Craft a cohesive visual identity—custom hero graphics, icons, banners and any other imagery needed—so the entire site feels consistent and memorable.
• Ensure the site is fully responsive, quick to load and easy to navigate on all devices.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices (clean headings, alt text, descriptive URLs) and connect Google Analytics so I can track performance from day one.
• Hand over editable design assets (PSD/AI/Figma) alongside WordPress admin credentials so future updates are straightforward.
Acceptance criteria
1. All ten pages display correctly on desktop, tablet and mobile.
2. Graphics match the agreed colour palette and typography.
3. Page-load scores reach at least 90 on Google PageSpeed Insights for both mobile and desktop.
4. No critical errors flagged by WordPress Site Health.
5. I receive a short video or written guide showing how to update text and images myself.
