I’m launching an online shop that sells digital products only, so every part of the experience has to feel fast, modern and mobile-first. WordPress is my preferred platform, and I’m expecting a polished build that pairs WooCommerce (or another proven WordPress e-commerce solution) with a clean, intuitive theme.
Core requirements
• Product catalogue with straightforward categorisation and search
• Shopping cart and streamlined checkout flow
• Secure payment gateway set-up (Stripe, PayPal—or advise on the best fit)
• Immediate, protected delivery of downloadable files after purchase
• Automated emails for order confirmation and download links
• Fully responsive design, optimised for all common devices
• SSL in place plus basic GDPR/cookie compliance
• Simple admin workflow so I can add new digital products without touching code
Timeline & hand-off
I’d like the site tested, deployed to my hosting and ready for customers within three weeks. On completion, please provide a short PDF or video guide covering product upload, order tracking and routine maintenance.
Acceptance criteria
1. Site loads correctly on modern desktop, tablet and mobile browsers
2. End-to-end purchase of a test product delivers the correct download link without exposing the file URL
3. Payment, tax, and email notifications work flawlessly
4. All branding, colours and fonts match the provided style guide (or, if none is supplied, a clean professional palette we agree on)
5. No console errors, broken links or uncompressed assets remain in the production build
If this aligns with your expertise, I’d love to see a brief outline of your approach and any similar WordPress digital-download stores you’ve built.
