India Metal Fabrication Sourcing Agent

I’m in Perth, Australia running Cartra, a growing water-filtration brand, and I need an on-the-ground sourcing partner in India to identify and vet a manufacturer for steel sheet-metal component. Preference is for contacts in Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore or Rajkot, but I’ll consider any city if the factory capabilities match.

The role calls for someone with at least five years’ experience placing metal-fabrication work, strong supplier networks, and the confidence to walk factory floors, verify quality systems, negotiate MOQ, lead times and pricing, and report back with clear photographs, video, and visit notes. You will be working exclusively for me, never the factory, so transparency and impartiality are essential.

Timing is tight—I’d like initial factory short-lists and first visit reports as soon as possible. Compensation can be commission-based, a fixed retainer, or a mix; I’m flexible for the right person and keen to build a long-term relationship.
