I need a streamlined workflow that starts with a Microsoft Form and ends with an automatic email confirmation in Outlook.
First, build a Microsoft Form dedicated to collecting data within our organisation about cash needed for each department. The form must capture:
• Department name
• Amount needed
• Bank account details
Once a request is submitted, the responses have to land in an Excel file with every column perfectly aligned so our finance team can filter and analyse without further clean-up.
Finally, use Power Automate to trigger an Outlook email back to the requester the moment their form is received. The email should pick up the department name and amount requested from the submission and drop them into a short confirmation template.
Acceptance criteria
1. A shareable Microsoft Form with the three fields above and any standard validation you recommend.
2. An Excel workbook automatically populated by each submission, with columns mapped exactly to the form fields.
3. A Power Automate flow that sends an Outlook confirmation containing dynamic form data, tested end-to-end.
I will supply access to our Microsoft 365 environment and any additional details you need.
