I’m building an end-to-end system for an air-and-sea freight company and need a developer who can deliver both a web application and companion iOS/Android apps.
The platform has two tightly linked modules:
1. Warehouse Operations
The back-office side must handle receiving and dispatching cargo with solid inventory tracking, smooth order-fulfillment workflows, and clear reporting/analytics so staff always see stock positions, shipment status, and performance KPIs in real time.
2. Customer Portal
Shippers will log in to book or follow their consignments, track progress mile-by-mile, download or settle invoices, and receive automatic status notifications (email, push, or SMS). QuickBooks Online integration is non-negotiable: invoices raised in the portal have to sync bi-directionally so finance stays in step without manual re-entry.
Core expectations
• Responsive web front end plus native-feel mobile apps using the same API stack
• Secure multi-tenant architecture (each client views only their own data)
• Role-based access inside the warehouse module
• Clean, modern UI/UX for staff and customers alike
• Documentation and hand-off so my internal team can maintain basic configs
Acceptance criteria
• Demo environment showing warehouse intake → dispatch flow with sample data
• Live QuickBooks sync: create invoice in portal, see it appear in QBO, mark paid in QBO, see status update back in portal
• Mobile apps published to TestFlight / Google Play Internal Testing with push notifications firing on status changes
• Source code, DB schema, and deployment scripts provided in Git
