I have an existing 3D model in STL format that needs several changes before it will be ready for the printer. The piece must be resized to exact specifications, certain features have to be added or removed, and the surfaces need a material-quality pass so I can generate realistic colour previews prior to fabrication.
Your task is to open the current STL, carry out those geometric edits cleanly, refine any visible texture detail, and return a watertight, non-manifold-free file that slices without errors. Feel free to work in the software of your choice—Blender, Z-Brush, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar—as long as the final delivery meets the following acceptance criteria:
• Updated, print-ready STL at the correct scale
• Clean topology: no holes, inverted normals or intersecting shells
• Added/removed features blended seamlessly into the mesh
• Optional high-res OBJ (or equivalent) with improved material/texture data for preview renders
