As a QA Engineer with a strong focus on Data, you will understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases, execute and automate those tests, and track testing progress and defects.
 
The Impact You’ll Have
- Understand requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases, ensuring requirements traceability.

- Execute test cases, including regression testing, and document results and testing progress.

- Document, track, and validate the resolution of software defects in collaboration with Engineering.

- Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and address testing-related questions.

- Collaborate with engineers to investigate defects and determine the right solutions.

- Validate data across applications, APIs, databases, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

- Establish and document testing processes, standards, and best practices.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and data quality.

- Leverage AI tools to improve automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage.

- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure high-quality software and reliable data.

 
What We Look For
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

- Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright and/or Cypress.

- Strong SQL skills and experience validating data in databases.

- Experience testing APIs and data-driven applications.

- Understanding of data quality, consistency, and integrity.

- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

- Cloud experience is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively document, troubleshoot, and communicate defects and test results.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple testing initiatives and drive them to completion.

- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and identify opportunities to improve automation, test coverage, and overall efficiency.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.

- Interest and experience in leveraging AI tools to improve automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
