Subtle Loop Animations from existing painting

I have a digital illustration that I want to bring to life with very gentle, boomerang-style movement—think a soft shimmer in the background, a slow blink, or a drifting element that loops seamlessly. The goal is to output a short, vertical video canvas that feels alive without upstaging the original art.

Primary formats
• Spotify Canvas (8-second seamless loop, 9:16, ≤ 8 MB)
• YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels & TikTok (9:16, up to 15 s, ready to upload)

If you have a smooth workflow in After Effects, Photoshop, or similar motion-design tools and can deliver crisp, looping files that meet each platform’s specs, I’d love to see what you’ve done previously. Please link to past work that shows subtle motion treatments rather than full-on character animation; that’s exactly the vibe I’m after.

Acceptance criteria
• Only select areas move—no full-frame chaos
• Perfectly looping, no visible jump cuts
• Resolution and file size conform to the platform specs above
• Colour and texture of the original artwork remain intact
• Work is manual and doesn't use AI.

Deliverable
- We will start with just 1 painting animated for Spotify Canvas / 9:16 format. We can then expand.
