I have a medium-resolution photograph featuring two dogs and I need a clean, believable head swap between them while preserving every other element of the shot. The final image must look as though no editing was ever done—fur texture, lighting, shadows, and colour grading all need to match perfectly so the result passes for a single, unaltered photo.
Key points you’ll work with:
• Realistic style only—no cartoon or painterly effects.
• Original background stays intact; no retouching or blurring outside of what’s essential for a seamless blend.
• Source file is mid-res JPEG; please return both a flattened high-quality JPEG/PNG and the layered PSD so I can tweak later if needed.
Acceptance criteria: when the swapped heads are viewed at 100 % zoom there should be no visible halos, mismatched fur patterns, or lighting inconsistencies. If a casual viewer can’t tell it’s edited, we’re done.
If you’re comfortable handling precise masking, fur reconstruction, and colour-matching in Photoshop (or comparable pro tools), I’d love to see this wrapped up quickly.
