I’m looking for a freelance desktop support engineer who can jump in and keep our Windows-based workforce running smoothly. Day to day you will image and configure new laptops for incoming employees, link them to the company’s Microsoft 365 tenant, and resolve user tickets that revolve mostly around Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive—including the occasional OneDrive sync headache.
Our environment is purely Windows, so solid familiarity with Windows 10/11 settings, user profile management, and common networking or printer hiccups is essential. Because the role is entry-level, I don’t expect years of experience; I do need someone who can communicate clearly with non-technical staff, follow documented procedures, and research fixes when something unfamiliar appears.
Deliverables for each engagement:
• A fully configured, secure laptop ready for hand-over to the new hire
• Closure of assigned support tickets with concise resolution notes
