Configuring Advanced Rules in SharePoint for Legal Evidence Management

We need an experienced SharePoint expert to build an advanced, reusable set of rules that can streamline how our team collects, classifies, and preserves legal evidence. The goal is to ensure that all records received in any form—such as uploaded files, emails, and scanned court documents—are automatically moved to the correct library, receive appropriate metadata, and have the correct permissions and retention settings applied, all without manual intervention.

The key points I am already aware of are as follows:

• Rule-based routing that operates based on metadata or content types

• Automatic versioning and locking of evidence to prevent accidental overwriting or deletion

• Searchable, tamper-proof audit logs

What we will provide is:

• SharePoint tenant (Modern environment) access permissions

• The classification system and content types currently in use

• Sample evidence files for testing

The deliverables you will provide are:

1. Documented rules and flows that can be directly imported into our environment (using Power Automate or the most powerful built-in policies)
2. A short video guide or live demo showing the configuration working from start to finish. 3. Deployment-related documentation so that internal administrators can reproduce it on other site collections.

The task is complete when the newly added evidence items automatically meet the compliance criteria above and the audit trail records substantiate each step.
