26x62 House Plan & Design

My rectangular plot is 26 ft wide by 62 ft long and I’m ready to turn it into a well-planned, minimalist home. The core spaces I must have are two bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a porch and a dedicated storage room. Interior-wise, I lean toward a clean, minimalist look throughout the whole house rather than focusing on a single room, so cohesion is important.

I haven’t settled on an exterior style yet, so I’m happy to explore contemporary, colonial, ranch or any other approach you feel matches both the footprint and my minimalist interior vision. Present a couple of façade options and we’ll refine from there.

Scope of work
• Draft a functional floor plan that maximises the 26 × 62 ft footprint.
• Produce 3D views or renders that illustrate layout, natural light and minimalist finishes.
• Provide a furniture and storage layout that keeps circulation free and open.
• Supply editable CAD/SketchUp files so I can request changes easily.

I’ll likely ask for tweaks as ideas evolve, so I value a designer who is flexible and communicative. If you’re comfortable iterating and can translate minimalist principles into practical drawings, let’s get started.
